My Voluntary Work
I am currently Chair of two charities, The Mighty Creatives and Upstart Projects and on the Advisory Board of Attenborough Arts Centre.
The Mighty Creatives
The Mighty Creatives fights for the creative voices of young people. Our vision is of a world where all children and young people will harness the power of arts, creativity and culture in order to transform themselves, their communities and their futures.
TMC is funded by Arts Council England as a Bridge organisation, promoting and supporting Artsmark and Arts Award as development tools and also investing in strategic initiatives such as local cultural education partnerships across the East Midlands. We also fund raise from trusts, foundations and donors to support our programmes.

Upstart Projects is a charity which creates opportunities in the arts for young people, promoting them as leaders and activists. We run media projects, including Voicemag.uk, a website which gives young people a chance to express their opinions about arts and culture and we support Arts Award online with Arts Award on Voice. https://www.voicemag.uk/ We train young people as critics and journalists, for example supporting a team of young reporters at events such as Edinburgh Fringe and Brighton Festival.
